Finn Hudson from Glee
Finn Hudson is the popular football player who simultaneously shows his talents as the glee club’s male stronghold. Despite receiving lots of pressure from his football teammates, he decides he likes performing too much and tries to do both football and glee club. Although his teammates aren’t pleased, they know they can’t win without him.
The son of a single-mom, Finn rediscovers his love of music when reflecting on his childhood and his mom’s boyfriend Darren. After seeing Darren spraying Emerald Dreams on the football field, he decides not to abandon the club afterall and returns to help orchestrate their first real song — Don’t Stop Belivin’ by Journey.
Most likely this character will combat the stereotype that you must either by gay or a nerd to be in glee club.
Finn Hudson is played by Cory Monteith.

Rachel Berry from Glee
She’s that girl from school who lives in a dream world — who’s both grounded and delusional at the same time. She thinks she’s already a star, but has no idea she’s got a lot of work to do.
The daughter of two dads (one white and one black), she’s not sure who is her biological father which leads us to believe she’s probably not in the Honors classes at William McKinley High School.
But she can sing and sing well. Even though her MySpace videos don’t get great comments from the cheerleaders at her school, she keeps posting them. She’s nothing if not determined.
For her glee club audition she sang “On My Own” from Les Miserables.
Rachel Berry is played by Lea Michele.
