Revisiting Glee S2- Season 3 Prep

At the end of season 2, other priorities took over and I missed the last few episodes. Now that season 3 is approaching, I decided to go back and catch up. I’m glad I did since those brought some of the best episodes of the season. For those who might want to do the same, here are the best options for catching up on missed episodes.

Options:

  1. Catch some random episodes at Hulu (via the handy dandy Watch.IO tool). These appear to be changing weekly, so eventually they will cycle back to the end of the season.
  2. Via Hulu Plus (1 week free trial, then $7.99 / mo) – See all 22 episodes of season 2.
  3. Via Netflix (DVD delivery $7.99 / mo) – Also available with a 2 week free trial. All episodes are available on disc, but only season 1 can be streamed at the moment.
  4. Via Amazon Instant Video (0.99 each). For those who only missed one or two episodes, this may be the cheapest way to go. Amazon’s player is pretty slick and fast loading. Use the popout version.
  5. Skip watching and just read the summaries at Wikipedia. The episode list links to extended plot summaries for each episode.
  6. Watch the previews only (AKA Glee-Wind) at YouTube. See a complete list of show previews for season 2 on GleeFansite.

  • Glee is True

I was reading the tweets of the cast of Glee today and I saw  this one from Harry Shum Jr.,

He. Is. Not. Real. Hah. http://yfrog.com/h7tf1p

Curiosity overtook me, so I went out to google “I’m having trouble dealing with the fact that…” and sure enough, there it was in the suggestion list. Exactly how many people have to search for that before it will show up? If for example, I searched for “i’m having trouble dealing with the fact that Glee isn’t a true story”, would it show up on your list? I did my part. I searched for “i’m having trouble dealing with the fact that Glee isn’t a true story”, is it there yet? No? Well, search for it and let’s get it on the list.

Here are the supporting facts, straight from Wikipedia.

Glee is based on the true story of a high school in Ohio where all of the students spontaneously burst out in song to express their teenage angst. The singing became so prevalent that every other student learned to ignore the singing and the sudden appearance of large video camera following them down the hallways. Eventually (after 5 years or so – wink, wink) the school had to be closed. The students complained because it took so many takes for them to get from one class to the next, and the studios were demanding steep royalties for the popular songs, forcing the students to sing the cheaper but less popular broadway numbers.

  • Glee Wins 3 Golden Globes

Glee took home 3 of the 5 Golden Globes it had been nominated for. Congratulations to Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch and the Glee Cast for their much deserved wins.  Now get back to work! It’s been way too long a wait over the holidays and we’re getting antsy.
