The witty dialogue is still there, the songs are good. The Rachel/Finn storyline is getting a bit old so I’m hoping that tonight’s episode puts that behind them.
It’s too bad Lea Michele wasn’t the original singer on …Baby One More Time because she can actually sing and it would have saved us years of lip syncing from the actual Britney. And Lea probably would not have shaved her head either.
Will was really out of character this episode–more than I think they meant for him to be. Maybe it was meant to be acted really cheesily, but it was just so different from previous episodes. I felt like it would have been a no brainer for him to be on board with Britney considering in the past he would rap like Kanye at the drop of a hat. I mean give me a break, I doubt Will from last season would have dug Christopher Cross.
Why the hell was Will’s ex-wife just magically standing in the parking lot?
Emma’s new boyfriend seemed to dig Will in a Curt sorta way.
Glad to see more than just one-liners from Brittany. I wonder if Heather Morris gets bored with the regular choreography when she know she can crank it out like she did tonight.
Did Mercedes even say a line tonight? I wonder how much Amber Riley got paid for that. There was one good shot of those hats on her boobs, however.
Where are they going with coach Bieste? Are we supposed to like her? I do.
Not a peep from those new characters.
Still not sure why Sue was so irritated by the Britney performance. It seemed forced to me — like they needed some way to get Sue involved with this episode.

Glee Episode 1.11 (Airs: December 2)
Glee is planning an episode on December 2 titled Once, Upon A Mattress where the Glee cast sings in a mattress store. Entertainment Weekly ran a page in their double issue #1069 where they had inside photos of Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray) and her stomach looks round and plump which means she is really having the baby by the second season.
In one photo on the Entertainment Weekly Spread, there is Kevin Mchale sitting atop a bed with his wheelchair, holding up a sign that reads “Jump”. This episode will probably blow open something really big, big enough for Entertainment Weekly and other sites to cover. This episode’s title references the original musical “Once Upon A Mattress and the 2007 movie “Once”. We’ll just have to wait and see how this episode turns out and if it’s anything like the original musical.
