Cory Monteith
If you picked up any little bit of a Canadian accent (I didn’t), then you might have guessed that Cory Monteith was born and raised in Canada. But we won’t hold that against him.
Although he’s about 10 years older than the character he plays, Cory’s ability to act young and conflicted helps him pass himself off as a typical high school kid.
Having been in several smaller roles (with character names like “Frat Cowboy,” “Windsurfer Bob,” and “Lip Ring”) I am sure he’s probably happy to find himself in the role as Finn Hudson on Glee.
In addition to several episodes of the series “Kyle XY” and an MTV series called “Kaya,” Monteith has appeared in several feature films including “Final Destination 3″ and “The Invisible.”
We look forward to seeing him in many future episodes of Glee.

Finn Hudson from Glee
Finn Hudson is the popular football player who simultaneously shows his talents as the glee club’s male stronghold. Despite receiving lots of pressure from his football teammates, he decides he likes performing too much and tries to do both football and glee club. Although his teammates aren’t pleased, they know they can’t win without him.
The son of a single-mom, Finn rediscovers his love of music when reflecting on his childhood and his mom’s boyfriend Darren. After seeing Darren spraying Emerald Dreams on the football field, he decides not to abandon the club afterall and returns to help orchestrate their first real song — Don’t Stop Belivin’ by Journey.
Most likely this character will combat the stereotype that you must either by gay or a nerd to be in glee club.
Finn Hudson is played by Cory Monteith.
